Spring Anime 2010
« on: February 11, 2010, 06:10:33 PM »
Here we have it, the Version 1 of the Spring Season. Good portion of this season is Sports, Samurai, and heavy Violence.

There's quite a few potentially good series coming in the spring if this chart doesn't change much between now and then.

Shows I'm might/going to watch:

Senko no Night Raid
Yojo-han Shinwa Taikei
RAINBOW - Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin (Maybe)
House of Five Leaves
K-ON! Season 2 (I watched Season 1, might as well watch Season 2 even tho I disliked it so far)
Ikkitousen: Xtreme Xecutor (DEFINITELY! Probably the one I'm looking forward to the most!)
Darker Than Black OVA
Gundam Unicron (if I get around to it)

Angel Beats - Yay for Key!  I'm a little apprehensive because it's not in the usual hands of KyoAni, though.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! - Well, I read the manga...so why not.
K-ON! 2 - Oh yes!
Darker than Black II OVA - Maybe it'll solve the confusion of the whole ending of the second season...

Speaking of updates, the new version 2 of this chart is now up to look at in the first post. Dates have been added for each series

New addition to my must watch list is the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It was suppose to air last season but I guess got pushed back. Hopefully it'll air this season.

THe whole idea, from what I understand it, with Unicorn is a visit to the roots of Gundam. I hear its connected to one of the older Gundam Series or something. I dunno, haven't watched any of it yet. Was interested in it but I decided to wait cause I want to watch 0079 first (sitting on my comp).

Man, there's only three shows next season airing that I'll watch?  Not counting Darker than Black since it's an OVA.  Pretty sparse for me, then...

I must question the chibi gundam figures.

Why dammit why, the firsst one wasn't good, what makes them think this'll be any better

ok I gotta say, after watching episode one of Gundam Unicorn( one hour and 30 minutes), it is going to be a really good series with a lot of drama issues going on. I would go into more detail about it ( for both pros and cons)  however, I ama still psyced about the first episode and would only give it a high praise. Trust me it is good, but already you can tell there are going to be some plot hole issues and some confusing materials going around. but like I said I can't give a solid review until I get rid of this excitement I have for it.

Angel Beats is all I've watched that's new this season so far.  It's definitely not exactly like the usual Key stuff I know (Air, Kanon, Clannad).  Then again, it's not one of their 'season' shows, is it?  I'll keep watching, though.  Animation's not KyoAni but it's still nice.

I saw the first episode of Ikkitousen and it's better than the third season so far.

when i first saw this, first thing that comes to mind was someone will die and itll be all depressing but then... wha... yeah not your typical Key stuff.

Well, funny you should say that. The main character died a total of three times in under three minutes, I think.  Twice in just comical ways.
