Yup, it's weird but not unheard of.

Heh, my university just got a few thousand injectable vaccines.  My friend is still contemplating getting it.

Not when someone has a thin sharp instrument in their hand and intending to jab her with it.  >_>

I should think that being hit in the head with a baseball bat hard enough to induce coma would be more unpleasant than an injection from a needle...

Then again, shonen-bat made the whole thing seem a lot more fun.

I never got the point of getting a flu shot.

I mean, once you get the flu once, it's very hard to get it again, since the immune system is more apt to ward it off easier.

However, I guess if you have AIDS or something it would be beneficial. >_>

Well, it's not like chicken pox where you get it once and you're covered the rest of your life.  There's different "popular" strains every year.  Also flu kills tons of old people and kids who can't really fight off the flu as easily as people our age.

to feed off of: The flu changes every year, and the strain is always completely different than the last. It is true that if u get it once that you are immune, however the human body will never be 100% completely immune from it, especially if it changes. You could be immune for about 3-5 years in a row, and then one day, BAM your out cold and sick in bed.
no need for me to explain hiw dangerous it is. Flu killed millions, still a fact I don't believe -_-

What is there not to believe?  I know tons of people that got sick at my campus and got it tested through that stupid throat test.

I just can't believe that nthe flu killed milloins. I know it happened, but with all the material we have, part of me thinks it's farfetched. I know it's not, but it seems like it
