H1N1 is the number one strain of the flu going around right now.  And there are more visits to doctors and hospitals for flu-related reasons.  So she's certainly more likely to get sick this year than any other year, and by this specific strain as well.  And she does have asthma so...yeah.

I beat you, Steven!  I had eight people try to get me to do blood work as a kid!  I punched a nurse in the face by accident at the time.

Anyone else think this vaccine might be the start of some zombie apocalypse?

It is when you're like eight at the time.  Besides, I didn't do it on purpose.  My hands were just flailing around.  It's her fault for...having her face there.

Anyone else think this vaccine might be the start of some zombie apocalypse?

I've been stockpiling ammo for the inevitable since I was old enough to buy guns!

And by ammo...do you mean sporks?

Sporks smelted in silver and sanctified ceremoniously by the shining saints!

Do you actually still have the titanium spork I got you?  Hopefully, you didn't lose it or have it confiscated as evidence of your zombie murders.

Aw, I have some friends who will never get a flu vaccine again because they heard the story of a girl who was a cheerleader but now can't even walk straight because she suddenly got dystonia.

I heard about that, don't know how true that is.
One part of me thinks that the nurse gave her the wrong shot, but another part of me thinks that it was the result of a catalyst inside her body.
Some insane things have been going on lately.

We had some guy with dystonia show up at our school for a documentary showing thing a few years back.  From what I remember, the vaccine should be the trigger.  You don't suddenly get dystonia from anything.  It's not contagious or anything like that.  You just have it and something triggers it, like chemicals in the vaccine or even getting hit by a car.

really!?, dam that sucks :-\ . I never heard of a disease that just sits waiting for an event to happen. I mean I have heard were people have a disease and sits for along time before triggering itself. but to have a small incident or even another vaccine to trigger it, thats insane.
