Birth
« on: September 18, 2005, 08:36:22 PM »
A better title could be of use, but:

Birth
And I sit there, in a land of daze.
I no longer whisper, I no longer crave.
And I sit there, called to be virgin.

And I sleep, untouched by all.
So silent I pout, so loudly I call.
And I sleep, no cry to be seen.

And I see now, figures and light.
Never I ask, never I fight.
And I see now, too late to stand.

And I know, power and bravery late.
All of this lost, all of this fate?
And I know, no choice I have.

And I dance, meant forever today.
A lasting moment, a lasting ballet.
And I dance, too a simple heart beat.

And I sit there, in a land of daze.
I no longer whisper, I no longer crave.
And I sit there, called to be born.

Interesting rhyming stuff.  Haven't seen too much of your stuff in a while.

To tell the truth, I haven't been writing much. I don't think I have been writing much for a while now. I suck, don't I?

I still feel as if more could have been done to this poem, but it's all fine.

If it'll take you a while to write a great poem, take your time.  It's just that Fan Writing's slowed down a bit so I want more people to do stuff.  Meh.
