YEs House of Flying Daggers was awesome. Especially the fight scenes. And how she faked that she was blind. And she was so good at it that she dindt even blink or look straight at him.

I still wanna see Eye 2 ;_; it look sos good!

I was going to see the Eye 2 a while back, but we did not end up watching it... so we just brought it back. :-\ I however did finally watch Born to Fight and Oldboy at Otakon... and SARS War... haha, which is interesting, to say the least. ^^;; Anyway, I cannot wait to see Tom Yum Goong, it must be so awesome. @_@

SARS wars was...different, lol

Born to Fight was definitely an awesome action film.  And Oldboy made me feel bad at the end.  x_x  I want to see Born to Fight again.

Good, I was afraid you didn't even like it. ^^;; You need to see Ong Bak too... it has more Tony Jaa in it, as he is the most badass anyway... although everyone else was pretty awesome in Born to Fight. Also, Tom Yum Goong is the "kinda" sequel to Ong Bak, and I believe it is in theaters now... maybe it's even on DVD, I don't know... but that looked amazing from the previews I have seen. :) I should get them all, and we can have Tony Jaa marathon or something. ^^;; Maybe in BAKA sometime, that would be coolness.

Lol, why did Old Boy make you feel bad in the end??

Why do you think? O_o

If you've seen it, I'd assume you'd know why.  If you haven't...I don't want to say because it's just a spoiler for the whole movie and it'd be less exciting to watch if you knew.  So anyone that has seen it, hush hush. :)  Maybe that'll motivate others to watch it.

********SPOILER FOR "OLDBOY"***********
So anyone that has seen it, hush hush. :)
The movie just won't be as exciting for others if they know.

Haha, I've seen it about twice now.
And I loved it. I was dissapointed that he erased his memory ( I know weird, but I cant explain is x_X) but then again, I do understand =T

But yeah, taht was so freaking shocking what the dude (I forgot his anme, but the bad guy) did to him and his daughter. But it did teach me a pretty good lesson on rumors and such.

So you can't explain but you do understand how or why he erased his memory? Sorry, I just didn't understand what you were trying get across there.

I cant explain why I feel dissaponted that he erased his memory. But then again, I do understand why he would- which was most likely becasue he didnt wanna have to think of the previous actions he took with his daughter. So later he can just live happily with her, not knowing what they did and stuff...
I hope you got it now =D

Actually (now that this thread officially has spoilers), he got his mind erased of the actions closer to the end of the film, so he NO LONGER knows she is even his daughter. Therefore they can live being lovers without having to know the truth. If it happened like you said, she would have had to get her mind erased as well.

I watch quite a few Chinese/Korean (and my share of Japanese).

I'd definately recommend Full House (Korean).  Great TV Series.

Also, Cashreen (Japanese), kinda weird, but very nice graphics.  Those ones I remember.  My wife's Chinese so she always downloads Asian Movies, which I usally watch with her (she always downloads, sometimes in English Sub, sometimes she translates lol).  So most of them don't know names :p

Oh yeah, Love in Harvard (Korean) is pretty good, though I haven't seen end (pretty sure know how ends though, I was close to end).

I take it nobody here has watched 7 swords yet?
Battle doesn't need a purpose.
The battle is its own purpose.
You don't ask why a field burns or a plague spreads.
Don't ask why I fight.
