Woodsyd I must agree with you on most of your songs
Marvin Gaye and Barry White rock!
I think that Musiq Soulchild - Just friends, Carl Thomas-Make it allright, Goapele with Closer, I must say I really like Craig David, and I'm sure I'm leaving a lot of other artists out.

Well, these may not qualify for the best love songs, but here are some I particuarly like:

  • Remember When - Alan Jackson (County/Western)
  • When You Say Nothing At All - Alison Krauss & Union Station (Bluegrass)
  • How Can I Fall? - Breathe (Pop)
  • Runaway - Corrs (Pop)
  • I Knew I Loved You - Savage Garden (Pop)
  • Shape of My Heart - Sting (Pop)
  • It's Your Love - Time McGraw (Country/Pop)
  • Deeper Than the Holler - Randy Travis (Country/Western)
  • Forever and Ever, Amen - Randy Travis (Country/Western)

Actually, I know more really good "lost/failed/broken love" songs than love songs.
