A hooded girl
« on: August 28, 2004, 11:40:09 AM »
I drew another shading drawing and it took me a half hour to darken the lines and shading the creases in the sweatshirt. Please comment.  :-\

You shouldn't darken the outline of an object. You kind of want the object to blend in to the surroundings. Does that make sense? As for the drawing itself. The head could use some work. It isn't at all very semetrical. Other than that, I mean the drawing is ok.

Filippo Inzaghi is da man. Also, Italy is da man. AC Milan is also da man just as equally.

you don't have to listen to spike here. he can't tell you what you need and don't need to do with your drawing. draw it in whatever style you feel most comfortable using.

but anyway, i think it's a very nice picture. i can tell that you're going to get better and better in the years to come.

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad. - Jack Handy

Looks nice, other then that the body seems a bit long for the rest of the body, but maybe the sweatshirt is just real long.  Seems like the neck is a little long, but no big deal.  Good drawing though.

Sorry. I wasn't really trying to give you advice or impose my style of shading onto you.

I LOVE the drawing. You did a good job on it. The neck isn't THAT bad? You might just have to change the way the neck connects to the head. THAT might be what you would need to change, but the "longness" of the neck is fine b/c i believe it goes great with the body of the girl, since she IS kinda skinny? And I just LOVE the way you positioned her body! It's REALLY good. You do WAY better than me. I barely know how to start the head and face? _-_ Anyway, keep up the good work. Ja ne! ^_~

hmm....i think (i'm not trying to criticize your picture...but.i think you mabye can do better than this....@ _ @"")

First, the neck is little to long..., shoulders too wide~(draw the shoulders you want to hold it~ ;)), and why is so level ..(draw sexyly! XD~)..,..and

But i very like your shoes~~

Very nice pic but i think you could have pulled the shoulders and the hood closer to the head.

Oh, sorry. My fault. The post before you is how the subject was brought up again. My apologies... :-[

I do better on noses, by the way.  ;D
