Inspiration In Technicolor
« on: August 10, 2004, 08:26:33 PM »
First post here, though I've been lurking around here for a while.

Anywhoo, you can blame StrikeFlo for this.  I saw his work and it looked incredible, so I decided to finally start learning how to color (though, it's always been something I've wanted to do).  This first work (and only work, thus far) is from the end of chapter 62.  It was already colored, but I decided to take it a bit further.  I know it ain't anywhere near as good as StrikeFlo's, but it's only my 3rd work (my first being a self-drawn frog and turtle).  I've included the before and after picture so you can see what it looked like . . . well, before and after.

Let me know if it's good or if it sucks, and maybe what I could do to make it better.

I like how the 2 red lines meet at the center of the white rectangle.
Shut the fuck up.

Funny, you used to be able to use outside links to see pics using Brinkster.com.  I guess they changed it.

But I'll get 'em up again here.

EDIT: Fixed

I used Paint Shop Pro (it's very similar to Photoshop but 1/4 the price).

And I didn't know I could ask for RAWs.  But thanks for the feedback.  I think on my next try, I'm going to spend some more time on it to get it a little more polished.

1/4th of free is free. >_>

I used to use PSP7, till I somehow obtained a copy of PhotoShop 7 for free. You can figure that one out. I like PhotoShop a lot better. =)

Yeah, if you want raws, PM an op in #yanime and we'll most likely send you what you want.
