2001 to today's art.
« on: August 10, 2004, 12:26:28 AM »
I have always hated my old art works, I seem to always think "what the hell was I drawing?" whenever I would look at old art pieces and how i would look at it feeling like crap.

 Now that I look at 2001, I swear, I do not know WHY i felt proud of it.... They may be doodles, but thats how i develope my skill, sketches after doodles after chicken scratches everyday.

anyway, you have improved a lot. isn't it amazing how much someone can improve in a short amount of time? really gives meaning to the phrase "always room for improvement".

Thanks, but the reason i improved quickly was that bcuz I m REALLY crazy about art, I think other than sleep and eat, I draw. At school, doodle, at home, doodle, before bed, doodle, I sometimes doodle all the way till 2 am in the morning and haven't realized it. But I still have schoolmates that can draw so freaking perfect. What I think makes some one improve their art is mainly competition. Two kids at my school can draw VERY good and both have older siblings that draw damn good. I unfortunatly dun have anyone to compete with, my friends are all not into art....sigh

i'm the same way. it's funny how i'm actually more productive with drawing during school rather than at home though... sadly i don't have a study hall this year. that was where i did the most of my drawing... most of the time i'm distracted by tv or the computer.

and also, barely anyone around here is as serious of an artist as me. i mean, i bet there are some, but most who have any talent at all don't care about it, or just aren't very good. but to me, it's all i've got really... and i want to go to art school, and do my own comic books... etc etc. but the only artist friends i have are ones i met online...

I think the most classic thing you've ever drawn is that one that says "Amerika is beutiful and halpful." Classic. ^_^;;

You should scan it, if you haven't already. >_>

Hey, you HAVE improved really well. Keep on going, you look more proffessional than me. ^^' I wish I knew how to draw anime characters. If I would, I would like to make my own characters. The last thing I drew was this-----> http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v176/AnimeLover18/Inu.jpg  Though I have NO IDEA how I even began drawing this. I kinda stoped after this b/c I kinda didn't have much hope of getting better at it. Though I wish I did. Ja ne! ^_~

wow!! you got really good! * pats on back* better than me. :P
Fuck this fucking world. I don't belong here. I belong.. with someone like me. Someone nice who actually has feelings. who tries not to hurt other people. That would be nice. actually once -n- awhile... i wonder if there is a part on the world that is like that. I don't think so, cause the way people treat me. I mean, i don't try to hurt people, but, y'all do. People never understand me. Never have. Never will. So  just run away.

I thought of something the other day while working on improving my skills at drawing anatomy, If you reflect on days you would try and practice on anatomy drawings, you either do them around school (mainly at seperate desks), or when no one else is in the room. I mean, sure, you learn anatomy drawings at art schools but when you dun have the time or money to get classes (me....) you really have your self to do it. Luckily, I have a book on anatomy drawings and years of manga reading. But HOW ON EARTH do you practice anatomy without making someone do the "weird face". The weird face is when Someone looks at you like a pervert,.....and you cant say anything bcuz they would go "uh ah, suuuuuuuure." That y not many ppl get their grips on anatomy as quick as other aspects. MANY DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE DRAWING UNCLOTHED FIGURES WHEN PEOPLE ARE HOVERING OVER AROUND YOU! The funny thing is, when you master anatomy, those same "think-ur-a-pervert" people would go "Holy Crap, how u do that?!"  What a strange world this is.

Funny, i have the same problem. I'm trying to practice breasts on a woman, and i'm so embarressed because if a teacher sees me drawing it, they'll report to the office for drawing porn. And I'm like,  "Hello? I'm studying a person's body!" Sheesh! My school has too many rules, I swear.

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad. - Jack Handy
