what? nightmares are awesome! i had this one a few nights ago where the sky went on fire and the world as we know it went out of control!

1.dont eat cheese at night time

2. i dont know how to explain this, ah, well example: i was playing hitman all night and ended up having hitman dreams, i went to bed  after i really couldnt finish this level, and it was on my thoughts a lot.

basically i guess anything worrying you , you should talk you self into comfort about it so you wont worry, not that i was worrying i was just pissed. ^^

3.i would say dont watch scary movies but that just keeps you awake.

nightmares aren't that bad , even in the worst ones you wake up feeling amazing when its not true.

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad. - Jack Handy

I think I read somewhere that people get nightmares more often if their room's hot.  Open a window or something.

Wow. Sounds like me, two weeks ago or so.

About the nightmares... I don't know much, and I can only suggest common-sense-type things. Like, don't have caffeine right before you sleep. Don't be staring at a screen (TV or computer *is a hypocrite* >_>) right before you sleep. Get some fresh air in the room. Relax, and try not to expect the nightmares.

Sometimes I find that I become... strange... when I don't have enough energy i.e. not enough food or sleep. And I know getting sleep might be hard if you have nightmares, but make sure you feed yourself adequately.

*Oh, exercising is good too. I dunno why... maybe it's that endorphin business.

i work with kids all day, so excercise isnt a problem, i eat about 2 hours before i go to bed, i usually read a book through dinner up until i go to bed, and i try to stay away from caffine anyway.
*is frustrated*
i have the air conditioner set to 73 and the fan on high.
*throws hands up in surrender*
i dont get it!

reading lots will cause you to have nightmares, not that im saying you should stop reading, but take a break for a while before going to bed.
give your head a rest..

Just do like I do, and don't sleep.

Really... I've been going days at a time without sleep, lately. I met a girl, and we've been up talking all night on aim <3... and when I do sleep it's only for a few hours, and I've been fine. You waste a lot of time sleeping, that you could be spending doing other more important things... *dies from lack of sleep*

If you won't sleep, eventually you'll get tired.  ;D

Swim upsteam, for the beginning starts there.

beeverpaste has a point, maybe you'll get so tired you cant be bothered to dream. ^^

churchill and einstein had weird sleep patterns, i forget what einstien did but churchill woke up at 3 am and started working. 0.o

you can get used to less sleep, there was an experiment years ago at some university where  they got two groups of students, one group got all the sleep they could get and the other group had an hour deducted from their sleep time every few days.
Turned out boths group were working at the same high standard and felt great after a few weeks even though one group was only getting 6 hours sleep.
