Ok, finally finished S Freedom.  I made it a little too black, especially after I applied the overcoat.  That pretty much just turned it black.  Just to point out, the rifles can combine, and looks cool, the hip rail guns can be rotated towards the back so that the rifles can dock on the hips, and the Dragoons does separate.  As for the pose, well I just picked this one because I already had MG Freedom doing the "all out attack" pose, and having all the Dragoons out didn't make it look that good.  So I just went with the classic pose.  But the coolest thing about this model (you can't tell from the pic) but the cobalt blue has the best overall texture I've ever had with any other model...why?  Because I got an airbrush :)  I would usually have a very rough texture with the colors I "airbrushed" with the can adapter which I had to hide using a combination of overcoats, but now I can get a nice smooth look.  And I'll admit, the gold parts came out very nice.  I had my doubts for awhile but then I'm glad that Tamiya made their gold color in spray form :P  But enough with tech stuff, just look at the pics:

Now to build the 1/60 Force Impulse.

Alright, so I have been sitting on something like 19 Gundam kits that are unbuilt for quite some time, but I finally built the Tallgeese III 1/100 and Psycho Gundam 1/144. Both are awesome.

The Tallgeese was a little annoying since I hate having to paint too much and well... all Tallgeese kits suck for that except maybe the 1/144 Tallgeese I. So I expected it, and once it was finally finished, it looks great. Nothing makes panel lines shine like white. :)

The Psycho Gundam is absolutely huge. It's a fairly simple kit, minus the extra parts inside to transform it to mobile armor mode, but it was just fun and looks fantastic. The pure size of it is great... obviously still nothing compared to say... the Dendrobium, but this is just a Gundam, not some huge mobile armor with a Gundam within. I put my 1/144 HGUC Char's Z'Gok next to it for comparison... it's about 2.5 times it's size... which, although you think of 1/144s as tiny, that's pretty large. I should put it next to one of my PGs and see how close they are.

I did take pictures, although I am at school and I don't have them with me... I'll try to put them up tonight if I remember, though. Fun stuff. :)

I think I'll do my Astray Red Frame 1/100 next... gotta love a Gundam with a samurai sword. :)

Then again... I do still have my Strike PG to finish, the Char's Zaku II PG, and the Freedom MG. <<;;;;

Lets add another post in the row just to say right here and right now... when school is through and it's summer again, I really need to start building more of my model kits. I have... like 25 models stacked in my bedroom that are taking up a lot of space that I still have not built... including a lot of really badass ones. The problem (besides time)... I have to start packing figures and older models if I want to actually have space for them to be displayed. :( Good bye Gundam Wing 1/144 kits... ^^;;

I finally got started on some of mine, I just finished a MG Ez8 and a HGUC Hi-zack last week. I still got the MG GM and PG Char's Zaku to go, and I have no idea when I can find the time for a perfect grade. Space was my biggest problem too but my girlfriend is a master organizer and opened up alot of room for me, I should be good for maybe another 20 kits(after which I am going to have to start sacrificing anime figures). ^^ I really gotta get the ball rolling though, there are so many bad ass kits out there that I don't own and thats a crime. I actually may be getting the MG F91 in a few days because it is pretty affordable and I really like it. I will say right now tho, that with some work the Hi-Zack is one beautiful HGUC... :) I would've liked the MG, but there just isn't enough space to get everything I want in MG form(money is an issue too). =/

I look foward to reading about your progress though, and I will continue to post mine.  :)

Haha, well I still havn't touched mine. However, school is ending this week, so who knows... maybe I'll be in the mood next week to work on my pileS of kits in my room (that are taking up just as much floor space as my built ones are with desk space). I do have the MG F91 and MG Crossbone to build, too... *drool* Not to mention my Strike PG is still 1/4 built and my Char's Zaku II PG (thanks again for letting me know about the rediculous price... haha) is also unopened.

I really like the Ez-8 MG... it was the 4th one I built in 2001. And the Hi-Zack MG is really worth it... while the HGUCs are good stuff, the MG is just beautiful. I have it front and center on the top of my computer tower for a reason... :)

Anyway, looking good. I'll make sure to post mine whenever I finish one. Haha...

I just got the MG F91 and Crossbone in chinatown last month actually, I got them at a place you mentioned years ago on here(finally got around to hunting it down lol).  Anyway, they are truly amazing kits....great designs and just look incredible. The Rafflesia stand for the F91 needed a bit of painting but it was so worth it, its the center piece of my desk now. ^^ I also finished a 1/100 Buster Gundam and Providence Gundam recently which are fairly decent but they are still crappy Seed kits. I have quite a few more to build though so I got a bit of work.

I really hope the "MG 100" will be the Turn A, because i just finished that series and fell in love with the design. I want to get the 1/100 but not if they are just gonna make an MG right after I get it... :-\

Here are some very poor pictures of my Crossbone and F91, I really need to get a  good digital camera:
Crossbone- http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y14/Kairu_Deikun/Picture017-1.jpg

And your welcome about the PG Zaku lol, always happy to help.  :P

Haha, very nice... I really like that stand for the F91, too... maybe I should finally build it. Haha, I think I got both my Crossbone and F91 from the same place in Chinatown, but at different times. It's nice, the prices are about the same as conventions and most online retailers... but you can actually shop around. :)

And I want an MG Turn 'A', too... the series just seems stupid until you watch it and realize it's really a great show... and while the designs look so weird at first, they really grow on you. I have both the 1/100 Mobile Sumo (gold plated) and 1/100 Turn 'A' on my computer tower... with the Hi-Zack mentioned above. Hahaha.... I love them. :) They are really good 1/100 HGs, though... Not sure how much more they could really do with an MG.... but Bandai always surprises me with the MGs, so I'd love for them to try. :)

Bandai would find a way to pull off something great with the Turn A, probably slightly redesigning it but I'm sure it would look really nice. I loved the designs in Turn A, even the Wadom despite being completely weird was awsome. They really weren't much stranger than the designs in V, I hated those bug things....and the helicoptors...and things that ride in tires...and chinese dragons...

But yeah that underground mall was amazing, every where i went I saw something interesting and I honestly didn't want to leave. When I get a job I'm going back with a giant bag to stock up.  :)

Oh, and my wonderful girlfriend bought me a MG Aile Strike Gundam in Connecticut at a store called "Universal Century". I so want to visit this magical place! ^^ But I know you have this kit, how is it?

Haha, very true. Although it's odd, it seems as though most people automatically think of Turn A when "weird designs" come up... but V Gundam was full of down-right ugly mobile suits, as mentioned. ^^;;

WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? WHERE?!?! I live in CT and I've never heard of the place? What town? Mall? WTF?! ^^;; Get me information NOW.  ;D

But I know you have this kit, how is it?

What you'd expect. :) It's just a very nice MG with a stand and the nice frame technology they designed when they did the G Gundam MGs... It's simple and beautiful. :D

I asked her and all she knows is that its in Milford, Connecticut and that its called Universal Century. She was visiting her father and doesn't really know the area. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.  :-\ From what she was saying on the phone while she was there the prices seemed decent though, the Strike was $43.
