Woodsyd I must agree with you on most of your songs
Marvin Gaye and Barry White rock!
I think that Musiq Soulchild - Just friends, Carl Thomas-Make it allright, Goapele with Closer, I must say I really like Craig David, and I'm sure I'm leaving a lot of other artists out.

Well, these may not qualify for the best love songs, but here are some I particuarly like:

Actually, I know more really good "lost/failed/broken love" songs than love songs.

I don't remember what Pete Murray's voice sounds like, but I do like the guitar part for 'So Beautiful'.

I recently had the good fortune to hear a friend give a beautiful rendition of Frank Sinatra's 'It Had to be You'. That's the only love song that comes to mind at the moment.

Ah the love gone bad songs. Yes, those are great.  Maybe you should make a thread about that.

Slow Down: Bobby Valentino
I Wanna Know: Joe
Ain't nothing Wrong: Houston

I like a lot of Josh Groban's stuff, Anymore by Travis Tritt is good too.. Enigma isn't considered traditional "Love Song" material, but I like their stuff, too. Train is good, Lacuna Coil, and Randy Travis.
