Yanime Clean Theme - Discussion
« on: March 13, 2005, 08:25:06 PM »
Well, the new default theme is here, for those who didn't like the dark theme. Please post whatever comments and suggestions you have here.

Wahhhh!!! It looks awsome! Nice job! When I hit the "back" button to go back to the forums, at first I was like "Whoa!!! I've never been to this site before!" Then I looked up and saw "Yanime".

I personally perfer the Yanime Blue and Grey Theme. The white is really bright on my monitor and makes my eyes all weird... Think there'll be a Black and Red Theme in the future?

Feel free to change the theme back, there is a nice post in the FAQ section if you are unsure how to do that. I have a bunch of other themes made, so look around once you get there.

There can be a Black and Red theme if you send in the colors you want. I'm doing some programming on stuff now, so there might be a delay in me getting it done.

Interesting change.

It looks nice, great work!

But it hurts my eyes, good that I have the option too choose!

I borrowed some graphical elements from the website, so we have da_MiGHTy_pLUm to thank for the colors and the majority of the graphics. The buttons (Home, Help, Search, New Post, etc...) are from Nuvola White by David Vigoni. The base of the design is the Classic YaBB SE theme (which I made some modifications to).

Since da_MiGHTy_pLUm had no hand in how the graphics/colors were used in this design, you can blame me for the misuse of his work if you wish.

Hope I didn't do too much harm to your eyes.

in terms of graphical aspects, i like the new theme, but overall i prefer the dark one better as it's easier on the eyes.
